Wilmington, North Carolina, is a beautiful coastal town, and I am lucky enough to have a sister who lives there. I saw this scene during a visit in the Fall of 2015. Her neighborhood ends on the marsh and sound of Wrightsville Beach. The sun was setting, and I loved the warm light on the cliff, contrasting with the shadowed areas on the marsh grasses. The boat appears to be tucked in for the night, at the end of the day.
